Mommy/Baby Yoga: For children under three, and their mommies (and daddies!). Includes overall strengthening and toning for mom, often using baby as a freeweight. We also learn infant massage techniques, songs and activities to do with your baby.
Yoga for Absolute Beginners: This class is one half hour of lecture and one hour of asana practice. It is an excellent introduction to the practice. Bring your questions; I have answers!
Yoga for Physical Performers: For athletes of all kinds including modern dancers, circus perfomers, gymnasts, and the like, This class is based in techniques for physical rehabilitation. It nourishes the instrument we use so ruthlessly during performance. Meditations focus on improving self-awareness and healing the body.
Partner Yoga: By integrating circus techniques from handbalancing, contortion, and acrobatics, this class pushes us to trust and support another person while creating beautiful asanas together. You will surprise yourself! |
